Burt's Bees MEDICATED Lip Balm healed my chapped lips overnight. But then again, they weren't that chapped. It's about 4 dollars and you can find it at target. It feels so cool and minty and icy on your lips.What is the best lip balm/chap stick for chapped lips?
Burt's Bees is definatly the best choice. Get the regular honey one because, oddly enough, it's not as sticky as the pomegranite one. It's usually somewhere around 4 bucks a tube at CVS.

Chap-stick is a 'preventative' %26amp; protective lip product. THey don't have medication in them, as a rule, but...
They do make Medicated Chap-Stick, too.
Blistek makes them, any with medication for sore, chapped lips should do.
Blistek's are better smelling, imo.
SOFTLIPS (really the name of the brand)!!! I know it's sold at CVS and probably Walgreens. It's like $2 and it makes your lips feel amazing and it comes in vanilla and raspberry. I use the raspberry and my bf loves it, so do I!
vaseline or any petroleum jelly (they have pharmacy generic brands too. is cheaper, lasts much longer, and has many other uses. i always keep a small jar in my purse. you never know when you're going to need it.
My favorite is Blistex Complete Moisture. It's the blue tube and I get it at WalMart for about $1.96. It goes on really smooth, has a pleasant flavor, and keeps my lips moist longer than standard chapstick or gloss. I swear by this stuff and always have at least 1 tube within reach :-D Hope you find what works best for you!

The tubs have a screw top lid, they are like small cannisters, or you can ask the pharmacist. Works better than beeswax

The best possible thing for chapped lips is to drink plenty of water so that your body can hydrate itself. Other than that, almost any lip balm will work, just stay away from ones with salycylic acid.

I will be going away for a beach holiday, I wanted to get a nice tan, but am sensitive of getting heat rashes. Is
1) Sun Oil (Banana Boat) better than Sun Lotion?

i have very sensitive skin as well and i don't get anything but Aveeno! I tried it about a year ago and i'll never use another lotion! They have a all sorts of different skin products! You might try the lotion for sure its awesome!
I like to use Johnson's New radiance lotion for women. it darkened and evened my skin tone and keeps my skin baby soft. carmex is what i usually use for my lips. Hope this helps! God bless!

What's your favorite kind of lip balm/chapstick?
Brand, flavor, etc. I'm looking for a really good kind that nourishes and soothes chapped lips.What's your favorite kind of lip balm/chapstick?
i have had problems with dry lips for a while too and i just found this lip balm stuff that really works great for me. It's called Lip Mender by ~H2O +~. Not only does it feel good on your lips, it actually heals them with continued use (so they stay nice even when you aren't applying it), so it's even better than a chapstick!
An interesting fact i thought i might share:
I used to use the regular Blistex lip ointment all the time. When i bought this stuff, though, the lady told me that from working with estheticians she had found out that continued use of Blistex can actually make your lips worse! Apparently it's not meant to be used very often because of certain chemicals it has in it that will damage your lips. It is only intended to be used occasionally (just like any other ointment). Who would have thought!!What's your favorite kind of lip balm/chapstick?
I have to go with Burt's Bees too. it works REALLY GOOD!
the Walgreens brand...works best for me when my lips are seriously chapped...its really cheap too.

Chap-stick brand chap stick for cold weather. Estee Lauder lip moisturizer for everyday use and plain old Vaseline for really dried, chapped or damaged lips.
I have large lips and they chap easily.
3 of my absolute favorites are:
Banana Boat Aloe Vera with Vitamin E lip balm (SPF 30)
Blistex Lip Infusion (lip protectant and sunscreen)
also, Satin Lips by Mary Kay
I use the Satin lips before i apply any lipstick and before i go out for the day.
The Banana Boat lip balm will protect your lips from the harsh sun (i bought mine at WalMart)
the Blistex lip infusion puts a lot of moisture back into my lips.
Try a few of these, they are great.

not that into lip balm, but what i use is Lancome Juicy Tubes lip gloss. this works to unchap my lips. if you absoulutely must have lip balm, try blistex. it stinks a bit, it stings a bit, but it works.
Dr. Pepper or Strawberry Kiwi..I love all kinds.
Sally Hansen's Lip Inflation. It doesn't really inflate your lips (at least not for me), just makes them feel tingly. I use it when my lips get irritated. Very soothing and has a strawberry-mint flavor.

Vanilla Lip Smackers. =) Cheap and tastes better than the expensive ones.
Whatever the blue Blistex ';wet feeling'; stuff is. It just glides on.
