I say 3 dollars will be good
you don't want to over price anything because that will detract from your sale completely. people like things that are simple and quick. so i must agree with what was already said by one commenter, people would prefer to just pull out a five and be on their way. so i must agree with what else was said...$3.00 wouldn't be bad.
you also have to consider though the area you live in. is it a small town, city, ect. or is it a larger city with many more people. the smaller the town the less likely people are to pay $3.00 for some balm. the bigger the city the more willing people are to shell out cash. so hope that helped at all.

Understanding that there is a slight mark-up for fundraising, $3. With any of these items, a good rule is a customers shouldn't have to reach for more than a $5 bill to pay for something.
