My favorite is Carmex and you find it in any drug store usually or Walmart. It also comes in cherry, mint and in a pot or stick. It's medicating and has a good base. It also has salicylic acid and cocoa butter. That means it exfoliates dead skin and moisturizes while it treats the lip skin. It costs no more tham 2 dollars. My lips would chap all winter until I found this and my lips look so much better. It is clear and I wear it under or over my lip stick. I always put it on before I go to bed and when I want to during the day. Good luck! What is the most moisturizing lip balm?
vaseline is good,
blistex not bad.
and nivea's not good.
vaseline is an all time favourite.. you can just use it before going to sleep too..
best of luck..
what i do i use vasaline then i put the lipstick it not only make your lip shinny but leaves your lips soft to give it a try and see for yourself.
chapstick dont work for me either.. and i get dry lips alot.
i use Blistex Lip Ointment.. i put it on at night and wen i wake up
my lips have gone soft. it also relieves cold sores and sunburnt lips. anything with petroleum ingredient dries out ur lips only.
either burts bees or blistix. basically any kind you can feel tingle when you put it on. it tells you that its working.
vaseline always helps.
i love vaseline in cherry.smells good.
Okay, this lipbalm lasts FOREVER!!!! It is just Disney Princess Belle lipgloss. You can get it at walmart for 2.99. Once I put it on before I went to bed, and when I woke up, it was still on! It's amazing! seriously, try it!
blistex
I love either Burts Beexwax or Kiehls lip balm. Both work wonders ;)
neutrogena chap stick its quite good i use it all year round under lip gloss.
I love Blistex lip balm. The best one is one that comes in a dark-blue pot and it has a minty menthol flavor. It keeps your lips moisturized and super-tingly.
I highly recommend Burt's Bee's Lip balm, I used to be addicted to medicated lip balm and would freak out if I didn't remember to bring some with me wherever I was...since using Burt's Bees I only have to use it once in a while mostly before bed, and my lips have never looked better
LABELLO!!!! i have never seen it in the states but when i lived overseas i used it all the time. if you can order it online, i would highly recommend it! now that i live here in the states i wish i could find it. i've tried at least 10 different kinds of chapstick and nothing lives up to labello.
only the original flavor (in the blue tube) works though. just in case you do end up trying it.
Pawpaw (papaya) ointment is so good better than Vaseline a close second is Nivea
Try the Nivea Lip Care range - it cares for and moisturises your lips, stays on, and also doesn't cost very much - the lip balm smells really good too :)
I have searched for years. Prescriptives lip Specialist. Even in -30 winters, my lips stay good.
Blistex Pro Care is quite good. It makes my lips soft and it is not that ';sticky'; and ';thick'; feelings. I like to use it as a lip base before I apply lipstick. Do lip mask twice per week in the winter can also make your lips look moist and soft.
Try one of the ones from Burt's Bees. I like the lip balm but they have lip gloss and honey lip balm too.
clinque
First, I exfoliate in lips with Mary Kay lip mask.. Then I use Carmex Lip Balm at night so my lips won't dry out. In the morning, I wipe it off (if there's any left) and I apply ChapStick Lip Balm.
I exfoliate my lips every Thursday. It's my Pamper Day.
There are three great ones. The first is an organic, inexpensive one called Desert Earth Shea Butter lip balm. Malin + Goetz lip conditioner is great and has a great gel formulation.
I also love a new line called Trilogy which is made with organic rose hip oil. Their lip conditioning balm is fantastic. Of course the old beauty standard - Kiehls lip balm is still also one of the best on the market.
well in order to moisturize any skin you must exfoliate(remove the dead skin) that is the skin that looks chapped or dry. Mary Kay has an awesome satin lip set it has a lip mask for exfoliating and then an awesome lip balm.will last 6 months to a year . may be longer . give it a try .You wont be disappointed. go to www.marykay.com/stylebylisa she is an amazing person and make up artist in the California scene.
Vaseline ie. Petroleum Jelly.
It's not a preferred base to lipstick, but it will actually work better than lipstick.
I love my Arbonne lip saver!
It's blended with targeted antioxidant ingredients that refresh, rejuvenate and soothe as it protects and benefits all skin types.
