What are the chances that i would get mono from using my friend's lip balm?

My friend just found out today that she has had mono for the past two months. I realized that i used her chap stick a few times in the last two months. I haven't really had any of the symptoms, but is it likely that i would have gotten it from her? What are the chances that i would get mono from using my friend's lip balm?
Hey I got mono and I hadn't even touched anyone. Chances are you were already exposed to it by being around her. I believe it takes about two weeks to see symptoms.

Take some Vitamin C just in case. But it seems that you didn't get it from the information you provided.

You can always just go to the doctor and get tested too. What are the chances that i would get mono from using my friend's lip balm?
There's a high chance that you have been infected with the virus that causes mono as it is high contagious and individuals with mono can continue to shed the virus for months after recovery. Approximately 90% of Americans are infected by adulthood, so it isn't uncommon.

The good news is, not everyone who is infected with Epstein-Barr develops mono.

The virus has an incubation period of around 1-2 months, meaning that it takes that long after infection for symptoms to appear. If you start feeling excessively tired and develop a sore throat during that time, it may be a good idea to see your physician.
You can get mono by using an infected person's chap stick. If you begin having symptoms please get checked out right away. My best friend ended up in the ICU in high school due to the dehydration that went along with her ignored case of mono.
You can only get mono through saliva.
yes possibly because your saliva can be on the lips and hence it can go on the lip gloss aplicator.
Don't share things that you each put ur mouth on like lip gloss or food or drinks that someone already put their mouth on
