Is it ok to use lip balm near a lip piercing?

I just got my side lip pierced about 3 days ago. My lips are really dry and chapped and was wondering if it would be okay to use some lip balm/Chap Stick? I know not to get it on the ring or near the whole.Is it ok to use lip balm near a lip piercing?

It would normally be fine so long as it is not comprised of things that would normally cause infection. Try to stay away from oil based lip balms and you should be just fine.
yeah its fine. i did that with mine. i hate how cleaning it makes it so dry around the piercing.
aslong as it doesnt go into the piercing it'll be fine, if ou wana make sure though then clean it after youve applied
LOL chapstick or anything like that wont affect it at all.
