Is constantly using lip balm bad for you?

I use nivea lip balm all the time like every minute, is it bad for you?Is constantly using lip balm bad for you?
It's not bad for you, but it could mean that you're not drinking enough water. If you don't drink enough water, your skin (including your lips) tend to get dry.Is constantly using lip balm bad for you?
try an organic one if you use it every minute. try burts bees beeswax stick stuff

the average woman eats 5-8 lbs of lipstick in her life (balm) and if yours has petroleum jelly in it...then that's a known carcinogen (like ingredients in cigarettes)

just buy the pure burt's bees one as bees wax is better than petroleum jelly
No. It's not bad for you. You can be ';addicted'; to it in a way... as in, if you're not using it, you feel like your lips are so dry, but if you can stand it a little while, the feeling goes away and you can go a few days without. I use Carmex, myself. In fact, a lot of lip balms are good because many have SPF sun protection which is good for your lips. Keep balming it up. :D
I've heard from multiple medias that it

can force your lips to dry out.

This happens because if you supply

your lips with too much moisture,

they will stop producing it to

compensate. If you use a moderate

amount, it will even out, so to speak.
It's not bad for you, however, your lips can be immune to a certain type of lip balm after awhile and it won't work anymore. So either not use it as often or switch brands.
maybe not directly as a health issue with your lips, but maybe you're a little ocd about it if you're literally using it every minute
I think it won't harm you but it may make your lips peal sometimes..I use carmax and it has a cooling sensation and sometimes my lip peal using it.
They say overuse of lip balms is bad because your lips will stop producing natural moisturizers.
It's not bad but if you don't forget to use it for a few hours, your lips will become dry very quickly, i have the same issue...
No way it is proven to be heapful in preventing lip cancer.

i have the same problem :)
no it soothes ur lips http://uk.answers.yahoo.com/question/ind鈥?/a>
nope it moisturizes your lips definetly not a bad thing!!
not unless you like lick it off every time you apply it!!!!
I hope not...I use blistex all the time, even when my lips are not chapped. It keeps them moist.
nope...but every minute is just plain stupid
No. i dont think something that moisturizes your lips can harm them!
SO THE NEW STUDIES SAY...WHAT ISN'T BAD FOR YOU THOUGH?
contrary to what some people believe, no, it won't harm you at all.
only if you eat it
