Does anyone know how to make homemade lip balm?

i was just bored at home and wanted to do something.Does anyone know how to make homemade lip balm?
vaseline can be used as lip balm. As for how to make it, I don't see why anyone would go to the trouble considering lip balm can be as cheap as a couple of bucksDoes anyone know how to make homemade lip balm?
you probably dont have all these ingredients right now though





My recipe: makes 7 .15oz tubes





1 1/2 tsp. Beeswax (.25oz)


1 3/4 tsp. + 1/8 tsp. Coconut Oil


1 1/8 tsp. Cocoa Butter


3 tsp. Sweet Almond Oil


3 Caps Vitamin E, oil squeezed out





Melt every thing in a small jar set in a pan of boiling water (don't melt over direct heat, it could burn or the wax could catch on fire!) Stir frequently. pour in small containers, but would be easier to just to buy lip balm.
1 table spoon beeswax


1/2 teaspoon petroleum jelly


1/2 drop red food coloring... or more for pigment


2 packets splenda... sweetener


1/4 teaspoon of artificial flavoring





dump all ingredients into a glass container then zap all ingredients in a microwave safe glass container for 20 seconds ... stir everything with a toothpick till blended





allow to cool before applying.
To make the following homemade lip balm recipes, melt beeswax and oil in microwave or double boiler, add other ingredients and pour into attractive containers. Let sit for 48 hours allowing time to set before use.





CAUTION: Your oil and beeswax will get extremely hot. DO NOT BOIL!! If it starts boiling, then cut heat source off and allow it to cool before handling it.











Honey Lip Balm





Ingredients:


4 oz extra virgin olive oil


3 oz beeswax


1/2 vitamin E capsule


1 oz honey








Lemon Lip Balm Bliss





Ingredients:


4 oz extra virgin olive oil


3 oz beeswax


1/2 vitamin E capsule


1 tablespoon lemon juice








Cleopatra Milk Haven Lip Balm Blast





Ingredients:


8 oz extra virgin olive oil


2 oz beeswax


4 oz cocoa butter


1/2 vitamin E capsule


1/2 teaspoon cream


1/2 teaspoon honey








Root Beer Lip Balm





Ingredients:


4 oz extra virgin olive oil


3 oz beeswax


1/2 vitamin E capsule


1/2 teaspoon rootbeer flavoring








Cocoa Butter Bliss





Ingredients:


4 oz extra virgin olive oil


3 oz cocoa butter


1 ox beeswax


1/2 vitamin E capsule








Chocolate Chip Lip Balm





Ingredients:


4 oz extra virgin olive oil


3 oz beeswax


1/2 vitamin E capsule


3-6 chocolate chips
Fresh Peppermint Lip Balm





2 T. petroleum jelly


1 tsp. beeswax


10-14 drops peppermint essential oil





Melt petroleum jelly, and then add beeswax. When melted remove from heat and add peppermint essential oil. Pour into a container and cool.





Lemon Lip Balm





Ingredients:

1 tablespoon lemon juice
