What is the best brand of lip balm? one that does not make your lips even more chapped or dry eventually?

are there any ingredients I should look for or avoid when buying lip balm? is medicated better than regular? What is the best brand of lip balm? one that does not make your lips even more chapped or dry eventually?
THis is a great question

Ive tried CHAPSTIK and found my lips NOTHING BUT chapped the worst they had ever been in my life.

EVENTUALLY I came across BLISTEX, specifically the dark green one. It works everytime. Also, take note of your caffiene intake, when I drink more ice tea in the day, I notice that my lips are more prone to being chapped. What is the best brand of lip balm? one that does not make your lips even more chapped or dry eventually?
burts bees is by far the best

avoid parifin wax
i like Blistex silk and shine
I personally like Bert's Bees lip balm. Avoid chap sticks that have alcohol in them, since they'll just dry out your lips more and make you more dependent on them as a result. I've read online before that this doesn't actually affect anything, but I'd rather not take my chances. Blistex is really great too.
The problem with flavored lipsticks/balms is that they make the wearer lick their lips and this causes chapping. So does certain ingrediants like those found in Chapstick. I like Carmex in a little jar. It's not flavored.
I personally use Carmex. I find that balms with too much wax dry out my lips or irritate them. Godloveya.
I like Carmix, or just plain Vicks.
Blistex is the best and the cheapest I've tried it's only 97 cents. WOW! For best and fast results put it on before you go to sleep and make sure to put alot of it on so it won't come off and in the morning they will be nice and smooth, and I gurantee they won't be chapped. It won't hurt them if you just try.
vaseline with aloe vera
